I was able to hear Vickie L. Milazzo speak at the Embracing Women in Leadership Conference last year in Houston with Stedman Graham. Oh did I forget to mention she created a brand new industry and lives right here in Houston?

Vickie L. Milazzo wrote a book titled, “Wicked Success Is Inside Every Woman.” The book went through five promises to unleash ten forces anyone can use in their chosen profession. But there are three key lessons that anyone can take away from this book and apply to their home based business.

Promises

To be wicked successful in your home based business you will need to make certain promises to yourself and stick with them. These promises need to align with the goals you have set for yourself and your personal life. No more than five promises will help set the tone for creating some type of balance between your business and your personal life.

Forces

Second are forces that you will have to seek within yourself to help propel you to stick with the tough times in building and expanding your home based business. Of the ten forces in Vickie’s book, endurance is the one that all home based business owners have to keep close. Times will get tough especially during a recession. Clients and referrals are often challenging to come by as well. But endurance will help the home based business owner seek creative ways to keep their business going.

Apply

The last lesson you should take away from “Wicked Success Is Inside Every Woman” is to take the forces and promises Vickie wrote about and adapt them to your personal business. Every promise and force in the book may or may not apply to you specifically but she has laid the foundation for creating a stable base for you to work from.

Wicked Success and being a gamechanger is definitely inside of every person. You just have to adapt the skills to your business and then consistently stick with them until you reap your own personal benefits.
