God’s forgiveness frees us from the chains of regret.
Have you ever wondered what could have? should have? would have been? If you are like me, then you know those questions are just a torture to your mind. Some people say they wish they could go back in time and redo whatever decision or choice they made. I personally do not believe I would ever want to do that. I believe every choice and decision I made was a conscious one. NO matter what the outcome was I made it with my own free, thinking mind. Now I have in the past felt as if I had done things differently then I would be in a better position in my life at that moment. But, I remember the lessons learned from my past choices and decisions and know I learned more about who I am as a person because of them. Regrets have forestalled success for many people. Some people cannot handle failure and defeat. It breaks them. Allowing a mistake to take you off your game is not the wisest decision. In order to be a gamechanger, you have to realize that mistakes happen. If you are willing to reflect and learn from yours then you should have no regrets. Regrets come into play if you continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. Success will only elude you if you allow your mistakes to determine how you live in your present and definitely how you will live in your future. Don’t allow your past mistakes to dictate the success that is coming your way. Success comes to those who keep moving forward despite the mistakes made along the way.
