So a few weeks ago, I was able to meet up with some of the other Nzuri bloggers to catch up in person and receive the rest of the products I’m going to review for you this month. It was so nice to see the ladies even though we’ve all kept in touch online and I’ve chatted with a few at some events we ended up attending. Now I want to give you my experience on a few products I have tried so far.

First up, Sporty Afros G+ Moisturizing Spray is what they call gatorade for your hair. I met the ladies last summer and that was my first experience with Sport Afros. Can you say I love this product! In this Texas heat it is great for keep my hair moist and not greasy or oily. It can fit in your purse and you will be able to use it anytime during the day. It keeps your curls moist which healthy hair thrives on water or any type of moisture. This purchase is something well worth the investment. Sensate Skin Care gave us a massage oil candle. Aaahhhh….don’t we all need a way to relax? The smell is powerful but in a good way. It really relaxes you before you even light the candle. You just light the candle, blow out the flame, let it pool for a minute or two, then pour into your hands and massage directly onto your skin. (Tip: make sure it is not too hot. That won’t be good.) The candle is also in a beautfiul container that I am going to reuse once the candle is used up. lol. I’m being resourceful. You can find Sensate Skin Care on Facebook.

After washing my hair and before I used Curl Keeper.

Curl Keepers is for frizzy hair. So I washed my hair using Curly Beautiful shampoo and conditioner. Then I applied an entire packet of Curl Keeper to my wet hair. I really liked how it curled my hair up immediately. I had beautiful curls all day. Then about midnight after getting home from yet another eventful Satuday, I noticed my edges were feeling tight. I scratched and oh no, flakes fell out. I was so devasted because I really loved the way it made my hair curl up. So far only two products have not worked for my ultra thick, coily hair.
