Permanent Beauty Treatments for the Eyes.
Your eyes are possibly the most engaging part of your face. They express your emotions, your moods, your levels of energy – it’s much harder to recognise somebody when they have hidden their eyes behind dark glasses – which is why celebrities often wear sunglasses at airports and out in the street to prevent themselves getting ‘papped’.
Which Beauty Product Do Women Like Best?
Making the most of your eyes is a popular beauty procedure and eye make up, particularly mascara, is often a beauty product many women say they would hate to be without.
In recent years, permanent and semi permanent cosmetic treatments have sprung up which aim to enhance the nature beauty of the eyes so that the wearer looks their best at all times, whether on a beach holiday or out somewhere glamorous in the evenings.
False eyelashes have become very popular in recent years in the beauty industry. We’re not talking the heavy disposable lashes fixed on with glue but the eye lash extensions that are now a popular trend. Without resorting to plastic surgery, a woman can make a dramatic difference to her appearance.
The extensions are painstakingly applied by a beautician, who uses tweezers to glue individual extensions to the wearer’s own eyelashes – a process which can take several hours. Although the process is non surgical, you need to be absolutely sure that the beautician you choose is highly qualified as you are trusting your eyes and the health of your eyesight to somebody.
How To Look After Eyelash Extensions
A good beauty salon will give you a full briefing on how to look after your eyelash extensions and make the most of them and when they will need replacing. If you do opt for eyelash extensions, remember that you may need to possibly change your brand of eye make up remover to prevent your new eyelashes clumping together or even washing off.
Don’t pull your eyelash extensions out before they are ready to fall off naturally as you will pull your own eyelashes out too, resulting in a thinning of your own eyelashes. Remember your eyelashes are there to help to keep your eyes clean and free from foreign bodies – they don’t just make you look beautiful, they have a definite purpose too.
Another beauty treatment women often opt for is permanent eyeliner – where a permanent tattoo resembling kohl is placed along the eyelash line. The idea is that the wearer doesn’t need to worry about make-up smudging or being washed off in the sea, playing sport or whilst swimming but looks good at all times. Whilst this might seem like a time-saving permanent option, it should be remembered that many people can have a severe permanent reaction to the inks used and that as a foreign body has been introduced under the skin, there is a risk of a scarring reaction. It may seem safe and if you are determined to take this route you need to ensure that you have a highly qualified and experienced practitioner who will take you through the pros and cons very carefully before you proceed. Perhaps the old fashioned way of applying a temporary eyeliner along with your daily make-up might be less stressful in the long run!
