Female Hairstyles in Business.
Women who work in the professional world want to look their best while also appearing to be professional. Using 1001 hair products is sometimes unavoidable but you should feel safe and confident in the knowledge that you look the part. Only when you feel good can you perform at your best!
Short Cuts with Style
One of the more sophisticated cuts for women’s hair uses a slanted shape to create a look which is both trendy and professional. The back of the hair is cut slightly higher than the nape of the neck with the hair angled to be longer toward the front. This type of cut works best on women with straight hair and requires very little effort to maintain.
The classic bob cut can also be a sophisticated look for business women to wear when the hair style comes to the chin line and includes bangs which have a straight cut to them. This look also works best on women with straight hair and requires minimal effort to maintain.
Women who have curly or wavy hair can also have a short cut to enhance their facial features. When the hair is curled, it is best to have all of the hair cut at the same length. A short cut which comes to the chin line should have bangs of equal length swept to one side.
Short hairstyles can also be enhanced with volume which can be added by using a styling mousse or hair gel.
Long Styles Appropriate for the Work Place
Women today can also choose to wear their hair long and still achieve a professional look. Long hair with volume can be brushed back off the face to create a dramatic and professional look. This style works best with hair which has a natural wave or which has been waved using large rollers.
Women with straight hair which is longer in length can also achieve a professional look by updating the classic ponytail. This hairstyle places the ponytail high on the head and then enhances it by braiding the hair which hangs down. A variation on this style is the classic French braid which also creates a sophisticated look appropriate for the office.
Women with medium to long lengths of hair can also choose to put their hair into a bun. The trendy bun style seen today, places the knotted bundle of hair at the back of the head rather than on top. This look can be enhanced with the addition of a fashionable hair pin placed through the bun.
An alternative bun style is the up swept loose style where the hair is held in place using a large hair clip, both the loose up swept style and the more formal bun, look best when the sides of the hair are pulled back in a sleek and smooth manner.
