Hello Game Changers,
My name is Imani Talib and I own and run an online boutique named Fashion by Faith Seeker. I created this boutique to promote the fact that Fashion does not just consist of material to cover the body (or part of the body), but it also can be used as a form of art. Fashion can be used as a means of expression. A way to express how you feel or how you would like to feel without having to say it aloud. Fashion by Faith Seeker is a place where independent as well as established designers are welcomed to exhibit their unique collections. It is also a place where those who hate looking like everyone else are welcomed, and others who would like to add a “pop” piece to their wardrobe can come to shop. This boutique will not only capture the imagination of the customer with its stylish pieces, but it will also remind everyone who will listen to have confidence in themselves and not to look to anyone for validation. If you want to try a new look go right ahead and do it with confidence. No one can tell you how to express yourself. They may be welcomed to suggest, but they most definitely cannot tell you what is beautiful. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” right? In addition to my online boutique I also have two fashion blogs (yes, I am a fashion blogger as well. Lol). The first, Time 2 Carpe Diem, caters to men through fashion, art, architecture, and more. The second, Faith Seeker’s Red Carpet, caters to both women and men through unique fashion looks, pieces, runway shows, and more. Each blog has its differences but when visiting them both you will always see something out of the ordinary and/or avant-garde. As you can see that’s something I love. To stand out from the crowd is a passion of mine, and I choose to share my findings with others in hopes of inspiring. With all of that being said I would like to share a sneak peek from a recent photo shoot styled by me and shot by Jamilia Wallace of BlaseBlasemagazine.com including pieces from the Fashion by Faith Seeker boutique.
