So this past weekend I went to a Fashion Beauty Expo in Houston. Well my thoughts may surprise you.

I was not impressed at all. They said the doors open at noon but when I arrived at 12:30 all there was to do was walk around and look at the vendors. Um…I’ve seen most of these vendors at many other events in Houston. I swear Houston has a problem with finding new types of vendors at events. So I was bored with this aspect. Another thing, it would be nice if they had advertise. I only found out about this event through two meet up groups I’m in. So around 12:45 I finally run into another fashion blogger. Neither one of us was impressed. The schedule said they would start with the first act at 1:15. So 2:00 rolls around and finally someone comes on stage to educate us. Now Chase Naturals did an excellent job with her beauty seminar. In my opinion, she saved the Fashion & Beauty Expo from receiving the first bad review on this blog. Chase Naturals is very knowledgeable of what she does and personally I’ve met her several times so I can vouch for how successful she is in the Houston market. I left after her seminar. I later saw on Facebook that it picked up. But my thing is from the moment the doors open, there should be something to keep my attention. If the time is from noon to 7p, there can’t be any down time. So will I return, umm..don’t know. But if other bloggers say it got better, I just may give it another chance. This experience has caused me to double down and make sure my own events have no dead time ever. So this is my thoughts on the Fashion  Beauty Expo. I really wish I had seen some actually fashion, but that’s another post.
