Don’t Let Shame Stain Your Life

Viola Davis shares a powerful speech that shows how our purpose can catapult us in life. She’s always wanted to be an actress as you can tell from her sit down interview here in Houston a few years ago. But her life growing up hungry has allowed her story to be a voice for the voiceless. This video will allow you to dig deep and think about what “shame” you have had in your life. Then eradicate that as a stain. It’s not a stain, it’s your signal to create change in order to have a successful life not only for yourself but for¬†others as well.

  2. You are so right about that Tracie. I’ve lived in shame for a very long time on things from my past that I had no control of. Breaking those chains has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through.

  3. I adore Viola Davis! I saw this interview a while ago but I’m touched every time I see it. I think there is a lot to be said for letting go of shame and fear….when you don’t it shackles you to the past and you can’t truly be free. This is why so many of us aren’t living our best life. Thanks for sharing this reminder!
